Babar Hashmi is the Chief Financial Officer of Treet Battery Limited. He brings over two decades of finance leadership experience across the FMCG, beauty, and oil and gas sectors, spanning Pakistan and the Gulf region.

Prior to joining Treet, Mr. Hashmi served as Chief Financial Officer of L’Oréal Pakistan, leading financial strategy across the company’s manufacturing and go-to-market operations. Prior to that, he headed the finance function at Transmed in the UAE, which is a leading FMCG distributor. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership roles with L’Oréal Middle East and L’Oréal Pakistan, and began his career in oil and gas with Shell Pakistan, following an audit career with PricewaterhouseCoopers Pakistan.

Across these roles, Mr. Hashmi has led financial transformation and profitability improvement programs, strengthened treasury and banking relationships, built commercial finance and governance disciplines, and driven digital transformation of finance systems and processes.

Mr. Hashmi is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP). His areas of expertise include financial planning and P&L management, cash flow and working capital optimization, digital finance transformation, and governance controls and risk management.
